“Joy in looking…

“Joy in looking and comprehending is nature’s most beautiful gift.”
Albert Einstein

This struck me as a profound statement. I wonder how many of us actually stop long enough to appreciate the truly amazing gift we have around us?

Let’s face it – nature does it best!

We can learn quite a lot by sitting back and observing.  Although I admit, for me it can be quite a challenge to just watch.

This quote reminds me of Bamboo, and our recent visit to Beautiful Bamboo Farm.

While looking for a picture of this beautiful swaying grass, I came across the one below at The Edison/Ford Winter Estates.

There is some interesting historical information about the Alphonse Karr variety being introduced into Florida via California to Theo Mead in Oviedo, FL and then down to Bradenton, etc.

For the specifics see the link below.
